According to surveys by the organisation Rozkoš bez rizika (Pleasure without Risk), paid sex work is undertaken by between 10 and 13 thousand people. As well as suffering from stigma, those performing the “oldest profession” are also in an ambiguous position in terms of Czech law. They find themselves in a kind of legal vacuum where their work is neither allowed nor forbidden. Are sex workers looking to be legalised?

Artist Patrik Saudek showcases an extended collection of large-format pictures in a vernissage at ShowPark DaVINCI.

After more than a year, painter Patrik Saudek has adorned the ShowPark DaVINCI premises with three new paintings which have become part of the largest collection of his large-format paintings, entitled Matrix. Guests and journalists bore witness to the unveiling of Patrik Saudek’s latest work, to become the property of a private collector, one who nevertheless continues to wish for the collection to remain within ShowPark DaVINCI premises. Visitors to his nightclub will thus have the opportunity to view these nine large-format works by this renowned artist in the one place.
